has anyone done rose petals along the aisle in the WP? I've seen numerous pics of rose petals at SBP and it is just LOVELY, but I feel as though you wont get the same dramatic affect in the WP b/c of the carpet... its so busy...
anyone have pics if they did do it? how did it turn out? thanks@!!

You could always do a runner under the petals -- I've seen nice white runners for brides...

We did it.

It was really a waste of money. The carpet is so busy you can't really see them scattered.

One wedding I saw they piled the roses up along the edge of the aisle on both sides and that looked great. But that was a lot of money for that amount of petals.

We used them for our vow renewal, but not very many. They weren't that expensive.

Yea that was what I was worried about, but with the aisle runner, that can get expensive too... hmm,

thanks for the help!

I love the petals too! I think you are right, you need to use Disney for throwing petals outside.

You can buy your own petals to use outside, too! One great source is www.flyboynaturals.com - they sell freeze-dried rose petals in bulk, as well as little bags or cones to put them in. I would imagine you can still bring these despite the new policy about using only Disney for floral at outside venues, since they let you bring petals for in-park weddings, which also have the Disney-floral-only restriction.

who knew!?! I guess even with Disney, there are always exceptions to the rules!! ;)

Are you allowed to bring in outside petals to SBP if they are real? :confused3

Yes! As you surmised, they won't let you bring fake ones.

I have to say, though, that I just bought mine through Disney so I wouldn't have to hassle with getting someone to lay them out or, for the toss petals, stuffing the bags and handing them out.

I'm going to have yellow and white rose petals - I plan on getting the 2 girls to chuck loads and loads of them all over the aisle (none of this 1 petal here 1 petal there malarky - I'm sure they will enjoy that and I will be able to see the petals throught the carpet :rotfl2:

Linz xxx :)
