Has anyone done every single ride in one trip? If so, how many days did it take you, when was your trip, and how did it go?

. I've been to DL before and know what my favorites are and what to me are a priority. I also know you need tomanage expectations and know that you can't do everything.

I am just curious to hear if people have done this and what their experiences were. I feel like at least SOMEONE here has to have done it... or is up for the challenge?! ;)

Yep! At Disneyland at least. Besides Splash Mountain (closed) and Space Mountain (not for me). We were there for 7 full days just the week before last. We did our favorites (Indy, Space, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan) at least 5 times each. Saw the parade 3 times. Went to Mickey's Halloween Party 3 times and saw the parade once and the Halloween Screams fireworks 3 times.

In California Adventure, we did everything besides California Screamin, Tower of Terror, and the smaller Paradise Pier "Boardwalk" rides. We probably could have done everything, just chose not to. We did do Grizzly River Rapids and Soarin' at least 3 times each, though (that was with Soarin' being down part of the day on two separate days).

With some strategy and FastPass, you can totally hit all the rides at least once (even the smaller ones) in 6-7 days. Granted, we went on a really busy time so it may be less. If you include the shows and character meet-n-greets then it would probably take longer. We did not do the Tiki room, Frozen at the Hyperion, the princess shows in Fantasy Faire, see any of the characters, etc. at all during our trip. We could have probably squeezed them in somewhere, but it would have came at the expense of down time at the hotel for a couple of hours each day or one of our repeated favorite rides. We were pretty much go non-stop from morning until night with a couple of hours in between for a break.

we went for 3 days in May 2016, and 4 days in september 2015 - I'm looking at the list of attractions and I don't see any that we didn't go on. Prior trips all of our kids were <40" so we skipped some of the bigger ones, but the last two trips we have had kids tall enough so I think we went on everything? For sure on day 4 we were kind of like, meh, we've done everything, is there anything we really want to go do again or should we go back to the hotel? We used FP for everything except one ride on RSR.

I've been more than once so I'll never do them all again. Some I really dislike. (Zephyr, nemo, etc. )

Wow! Good for you! That sounds like a jam packed trip but fun!

Nice that found some time to do lots of rides plus all your favorites multiple times and the fireworks and parades too!

We have a family rule that we have to hit every ride at least one time if our trip has 4 or more days in it. I get the loudest whining on Casey Junior Train, but I stick to enforcing the rules.

I was able to do them all in 3 days though that was awhile ago as it was one of those things I felt I had to do at least once.

You are all wonderful! We are there 3.5 park days in December and my sister wants to do EVERY ride.. I was like really.. even the carousel and some of the smaller rides.. and she was like well maybe not those. So I (jokingly) .. hey.. you want to do EVERY ride, you've got to EVERY ride. This is our first time on a trip just the two of us and our first Disney trip as adults together, and her first real time to Disney as an adult, plus our first time experiencing Disney at Christmas. Its super exciting. My guess we will do rope drop every morning and make sure we close the park at least once (if not every night :P) we can sleep when we're home right?

As an aside, I've been to DL many, many times. But even I've yet to ride everything. I've never been on the teacups and probably never will. I don't do well with spinning. Dumbo I can handle but Astro Orbitors is just a bit much for me.

I've done every ride, and could have easily done it on a trip back in 2012 or 2013. That being said, canoes were usually closed when I go in the winter, so I missed doing in for several trips over several years.

So, last December, I finally managed every regular attraction (shows, videos, rides), though not all in 1 trip. They used to have a shirt that said "I conquered Disneyland Resort" at the Emporium last year. As soon as I rode the canoes, I bought the shirt, as that was the last thing I had to do. :)

To do something like this, I think you need to consider what "every ride" mean in relation to closed rides.

I don't know if I have ever been on Astro Orbitors. The teacups make me queezy but if I have to do it to say I've done everything then I might just have to suck it up

Yeah I think to my sister it's every ride that is open while we are there, but not necessarily attractions (like enchanted tiki room and shows). To me I would be okay with every ride meaning every ride that is open and still doing some things I want to do (ie. PTN, WOC, meet some characters, I want to see Mickey and the Magical Map for the first time). But I would rather do all my priority things to do and if I missed a few rides, I would be okay. So we'll have to make a plan that suits both of us!

My secret to the twirly rides is a multi-prong attack. First, before breakfast, I take Bonine (same as Dramamine but Bonine doesn't make me sleepy). Then I eat a reasonable breakfast (for me, some fruit, toast, and peanut butter; no overfilling tummy). Then I put on Seabands (pay attention to the directions; it's important to place them correctly or they are useless). I wait about 2 hours then ride. When I ride, I don't look at anything close-by; I follow the movement with my eyes on things farther away (on teacups, I look beyond the fencing of the ride, for example).

With some planning, and using fast passes as much as possible, I'd think it would be fairly easy to do. Some rides have single rider (Splash, Indy, Matterhorn, Screamin', Goofy's Sky School, Grizzly, Radiator Springs Racers), which will generally let you knock those rides quickly. Each night, about 10 minutes before closing, hop in a slow-loader ride (Peter Pan, and Nemo are my typical ones) so you aren't waiting in terrible lines all day long. Get in line at Toy Story Midwsy Mania like 5 minutes before World of Color. Line will be shorter, and they stop the line when WOC starts.

Ive done all the rides I wanted to do pretty much every trip. There are some rides I don't like so I wont ride them but otherwise I always hit all the rides I want to go on, and most more than once. 2 days is enough for me to do that though I prefer 3 or more.

I would say even with kids in tow you can do all the rides in three days and most of the shows. The reason 4 or 5 days is so nice is because you can be a bit more leisurely getting in all the different rides, and you have plenty of time for repeats. I've rode every ride at DL and DCA multiple times. Some I like more than others. As a PP mentioned I could definitely skip the Zephyr for the rest of my life and be happy, though we'll probably go on it next visit since it has no height requirement and we still have little ones. I don't care for Mickey's wheel or the Silly Swings either, but I have done them all. It's definitely doable.
