has anyone done early check-in at the Poly?

i know it depends on availability that day, but assuming our room is available, is the Poly generally open to early check-in? we'd like to get in around 1 p.m. if possible.

We've had good luck getting into our room in the early afternoon many times at the Poly. In perhaps the mid 90's, they never seemed to have the room ready early but for several years now, it's been good again. If they can, they'll get you in. Only exception for us was at Poly concierge last Oct. when she said our room wasn't ready around noon but I had the distinct impression that she was lying! That lady is no longer there, though and when we were in concierge in June our room was ready early as it was in March (not concierge).

Last summer we checked into the Poly at 10:30 and our room was ready so it shouldn't be a problem. Good luck, it's such a nice treat to have the room ready.

I got in my room at the poly concierge this past June at noon time. we got there at 11 and it wasnt ready, they put our kuggage in the closet and we called back in an hr and they had it all done.

We stayed at the Poly in May, and checked in at 10:15AM. The room was ready to go then!

I checked into the Poly at 6:15 am last October. We spent one night at the POR and I was too excited to sleep. I went over early just to get our UMPS, and the guy at the front desk said he could get us a room now. It was great.

We stayed at the Poly in late April. We arrived there about 7:30 am and were just going to drop off our luggage and were surprised when the CM said that our room was ready and we would be taken there! It was wonderful to be able to leave all of our things in our room and arrive in the parks early knowing that our room was waiting on us whenever we decided to go back. The CM's at the Poly are absolutely the best!

We checked in about 1:30 P.M. on Aug. 10 and our room was ready. It can be kind of hit or miss though. If the room is not ready, they will store your luggage and you can change and use the pool, etc. or get your tickets and hit the parks. But I would guess that there is a reasonable chance your room will be ready at 1:00. You might want to send them a fax a couple of days before politely mentioning that. It can't hurt!

In July we checked in at 11:15 and our room was ready then.
Friday we had connecting rooms and checked in at about 7:30. They were not ready then. We checked and 1 room was ready at about 12:20. We later found out the reason the 2nd room wasnt ready was because the previous guests(who had our room too) stayed in it until around 1:00pm.

We stayed at the Poly Aug 2001. Checked in early, transferring ourselves from AS Sp. Friends of ours were already there so they put us in a room right across the hall from them, at our request to be near them. (This room was ready.) However, we wanted to face the pool so they said no problem, they'd move us, but that room wasn't ready. We just had to check back later. It wasn't too much longer and we were able to get in the room. Enjoy your stay! My family LOVES the Poly!
