Has anyone decorated their Magic Bands? Please show us the pictures!

I went back and put more nail polish around the mickey head to hide the edges of the MYB skins...I hope it's not overkill but even if it is...oh well it's too late now! Haha!

Only 12 more days till I can wear it for 9 days straight!!!! Eee!

Well the video the company posted says to use a clean band and I remember reading other posters say that vinyl needs to breathe and not to put a top coat on it. Mine just came in and I'm not planning on using any nail polish.

I did not use anything on top of my magic your band. It held up well and even got wet. I will order from them again.

Someone may have answered this already but for those of you who did the magic your band skins how did they hold up? What is the best way to seal them nail polish base coat or some other sealer? I am going on a 12 day trip and would like them to hold up beyond the trip if possible.

It's not necessary to seal them, unless you really want to. They are 100% water proof without being sealed. Sealing them with clear nail polish will make them more permanent so no good if you're the kind of person that likes to change designs out all the time!

I think it's odd that I see all these people on line like here in this group, Pntrest, and Facebook, who decorate their MB but I've only seen one decorated while at the parks. All the ones I look at/see are either just plain or have the bandits on them. Where are you decorators at?! LOL

I agree!! When I was at the parks last Oct it was the first time we used magicbands and I didn't notice any custom bands. Maybe they were too new and not many people were customizing yet. I will definitely be looking for them on my next trip in Nov this year! I expect to see many!

Just decorated my MagicBand today (guess who's is who's lol!). Was contimplating doing a tardis on Rob's band. He even threatened to take his band home with him until we leave for fear of it becoming too festive.

I think that's a good indication of how few park guests are on Pinterest, Facebook, the Dis. Things seem big here, but in reality it's a small percentage of guests.

When I went last September I think I may have seen 1 set of decorated bands on guests. And yes, this thread was in full swing last September.

It seems to somewhat depend upon the time of year. Around April time you see quite a few decorated bands but through the summer there are lots of plain gray bands all over the place!

I just received the first set of bands for our split trip at the end of the month. I can't wait to start painting again.

I used temp tattoos. I made mistakes, kept forgetting to peel off vinyl, so tattoos attached to that!

I got the tattoos from Party City.

For my yellow band I used Sally Hanson top coat, then placed tattoos as would fit, added a bit of purple sparkle nail polish, then let dry overnight. Next day I added 2 coats of the topcoat.

Blackhawks, I just had 2 that would fit, so I cut them best I could, (did a topcoat first) applied. It was missing something so I found a Mickey tattoo that would fit. 2 coats of top coat
