Has anyone changed their contract after sending it in (or prior to)??

Hi! Now, that I have a contract and everything seems more real, I had a few questions for all you ladies that have done this before... First, has anyone actually refused to initial something on the wedding contract and have Disney change something prior to sending it in?? Also, has anyone changed something afterwards (after signing it and sending it in) due to a change?? If so, has Disney been accomodating to these changes?? I just thought I would ask because contracts can be a little nerve-wrecking!! THANKS!!! :goodvibes

After sending my contract in we originally had our ceremony at 12pm. After discussion about possible Escape meal locations it was better to have an earlier ceremony so we changed it to 10 am. Disney is very accommodating, and they will send a revised contract back to you with the new changes. I hope that helps.

I didn't sign mine until they put in writing that I could add 5 people to my escape for the $500 fee. I had the revised version within a few short minutes!

NOW I want to change my time from 10:30 to 2:30. I sent that email on Friday so I didn't expect a response until Monday. I will let you know if I have any problems!

so they actually put this in writing...im so eager now to get the ball rolling...I wish it was February already

I might be a perfectionist, but I was a pain and refused to sign it until both of our last names were spelled right. His last name is easy, but everyone puts in an extra letter! :rotfl:So to make sure - I had them do a quick revisal. Of course when they sent it back my email address was a mess! So I just added it in, and initialed the change.

I don't want to sound like Bridezilla but then we changed from Boardwalk Ballroom to ADH! The next contract revision! LOL So the lesson out of all of this insanity is that, it's done more often than you might think! :goodvibes

There was a slight issue with mine (don't remember what it was, but it wasn't a huge deal). I talked to Kristi Davis, and she said I could strike through and write on it and initial, and then send it in. Obviously you have to talk to your Sales Coordinator before you do this, since they have to agree to it, too.

Thanks ladies! This is very helpful! I thought Disney would be accomodating, but 'ya never know! :thumbsup2

I changed the date of my dessert party after I signed the contract, 6 months after actually - so it can be done, but you need to discuss first with your planner.

We changed our wedding date after our contract was signed and the save the dates had gone out... whoops! :cutie: They very kindly sent new save the dates and we just signed an addendum to our contract - easy!

Just confirmed my time change with Bill and all I had to do was cross off the old time and write in the new one and initial!

After we had signed our contract, I saw the Disney Weddings special on WE and fell in love with SBP (Our original wedding was to be at Sunrise Terrace). I called Disney and they sent an addendum out - no problem!
