Has anyone changed skyauction reservations?

We have planned our trip for Sept. for our family of four (two teenage sons). As rather large glitch in our plan occurred when the oldest son applied (and got) an intership at WDW this fall. It looks like he will be leaving late August.

The younger son now wants to take his cousin. This would be fine if we could change our skyauction reservation. I have emailed them but no response yet.

Are you wanting to change times or just names? If it's just names (not the primary ressie holder), I doubt you'll have a problem. Both times I've used my auctions, they have never even asked about names upon checkin. They did check my ID as the ressie was in my name, but my sis they never asked about at all.

Does your auction include airfare? That might be a problem.

If they do allow you to, you will have to remember that the resort maynot have availability for your new dates??????

The reservation is for both air from the west coast and 7 days at the Fountains in Orlando. We would be changing the name on one of the airline reservations. I doubt it will matter once we are in Orlando.

I don't know anyone that will let you change the name on a plane ticket once it's booked. What I would check on w/ Skyauction is see if your son could change the date on his ticket so he could use it to get to his internship instead and just buy a ticket for the cousin. I would call rather than wait on an email response.

You may just be out of luck on the plane ticket portion, though.

I think I will call. I did ask about changing the reservation to get him to Orlando for the internship. The response was it cannot be changed.
