We want to take our kids to Pizza Planet for pizza, but our son is allergic to eggs. SOME pizzas have egg. :(

Has anyone called a quick service restaurant to check allergens before? If so, where do you call?

I do not know about calling, but you can start with the normal dining res number (WDW DINE). I know that many TS places have the cooks/chefs come and discuss allergies with you, had them do that for us in the past. For CS I think there is a list of "what's in what" but I am not sure if it is available at the place itself, or if you can get it at the park's Guest Relations or at any GR. Hopefully someone else here will have more info. Good luck.

All of the CS places have a book behind the counter that you can ask for. It lists all of the dishes available for sale, and all of the ingredients in each dish. Just ask to take a look at it before ordering.

I have a latex allergy and all the restaurants we very accomodating when you speak with them. You can call and they will note it on your ADR but when seated they will ask about your allergy and usually the chef will visit you to let you know if it will affect your ordering ability. I have never eaten at pizza planet but they will find out before you order if it is a counter service. :yay:

I would suggest going over to the disABILITIES Forum and llok at the disABILITIES FAQs. Post #3 there would be best for you; look in the diet section for lots of facts, advice and links. You can get directly to the disABILITIES FAQ by clicking on the link in my signature.
