I'm up at 4:00am eating garlic cheese toast and an ice cream sandwich (no, not pregnant, just PMS), and this infomercial looks really good...

I used to have a fabulous figure, now it's been downgraded to flabulous, in my opinion. No one else thinks I'm especially overweight, but I would love to get lean again, for me, for DH, and before I get pregnant so the weight will be easier to lose afterward.

Does anyone have any experience with this system? It's the one Daisy Fuentes hawks...

I bought it, but hardly use it. I wish I could take a beginner's class at a gym. It might make it easier to use the tapes. I'm not so sure I can get the moves down just by watching a tape. Before investing see if you can borrow it from someone or even see if your library or Blockbuster has it to rent.

Oh, and you might want to post this over on the WISH board as well. You may get more answers there.

I borrowed the instructional video from someone and tried it a couple of times. After you do the "Hundred" the first time, you will definitely be feeling it in your abs. I found these type of exercises not for me because I have a VERY tender neck, and if I were to strain it in any way I would be dizzy for weeks. From what I've heard, though, these are very good and effective exercises. If you decide to purchase the videos, definitely check out ebay first. You shouldn't have to pay more than $40 for the set. You might even check at Kohl's, if you have one in your area. I think they might carry them at a lower price.

Honestly, you look great in your signature pic, and you shouldn't be too worried about your weight. I recently took off about 15 pounds myself, and I used the Walk Away the Pounds tapes with Leslie Sansone. You walk right in your living room, and if you get the right set, you use a belt that has toning cords. You wouldn't believe how those will flatten out your stomach, if that's the part that you really want to work on. I was very satisfied with that program.

Winsor in particular? My sister has been using that one for a long time and loves it! She lost about 20 or so pounds with it...not that she needed it! Her opinion was...forget the aerobics, she needed the concentration on different areas. I have a couple DVDs and tapes in the series, just not Winsor. I love them! And I feel great when I'm done. :teeth:

shortly after DD was born. She is now 13 months. The DVD is still in the box!! Could this be why it's not working for me?::yes:: :o

my best friend bought it and swears by it...she definitely did not need to lose any weight in the first place, but I think she's using it more because she wants some definition in her abs, which she is apparently getting. She recommended that if you use it you should skip the beginner tape and just start with the 20 minute (I think?) workout, because the beginner one is rather pointless.

Me and my sister both love it! We do it twice a week, since that's all we can find time for. I'm not looking to lose weight(neither of us are) but it is good for keeping in shape(even though we're both still young...)!

Also, it seemed after I got better at pilates, yoga came easier when I picked it up again....now I'm a yoga enthusiest!

I found the Winsor Pilates 20 minute workout at Target and bought it. I used it for about 2 months 4-5 days a week and noticed an improvement in my muscle tone which was almost non-existent before that. The 20 minute workout is a good one to start with because it does go slower with Mari talking a lot inbetween the exercises to explain them. Well, it's been another 2 months and I am still doing the workout 3-4 days a week now. I've went back to Target and added the Advanced Body Slimming and the Bun and Thigh Sculpting to my routine. I really haven't lost any weight but I feel stronger and it does tone really well. The Bun and Thigh Sculpting is excellent. I know I've lost inches and I'm very happy with the program.

I hope you have good luck with the workouts, MScott! If you keep it up you really will feel and see results.
