Has anyone bought USF TKTS through RCI? What was your experience? Are they reliable?

We were "suckered" into a condo in Orlando on our first visit to US/IOA- (we didnt stay onsite and are now stuck with one that has been on the market for a year and cant sell it!) ) - RCI is the company that "manages" and provides all the services for our condo. We have been members for over 4 years now and can honestly say that the "deals" they offer are DEFINITELY NOT DEALS! I have been able to find vacation packages, tickets, and especially crusies for FAR LESS than the "member/discount rate" offered by RCI. We are going to be at HRH Club in December and looked at RCI for US/IOA tix and the prices were no different than those offered thru Universal, and Universal actually had better options/ variety as well. We have a problem supporting a company that claims to provide a benefit and better deals to members (which we are paying for!!!!!) when they actually do not- and in MOST cases, are actually MORE EXPENSIVE than other travel companies- esp those major online booking engines!

RCI does not manage resorts, they are for exchanging only. Your timeshare is managed by a development company and HOA.

RCI does sometimes have decent deals for Universal tickets. I think there is one going on right now. I know several people who purchased the tickets through RCI and had no problems.
