Has anyone bought the 3 month Universal passes at Costco recently?

I was at Costco this weekend and saw they were selling Universal 2 park 3 month passes for around $90 a person. I was reading the box, but it didn't say anything about expiration date, except 3 months from first use. I'd love to buy them, but we wont be going to Orlando until either March or July, so we want to make sure they'd still be valid. I know Universal has the deal for 7 day 2 park tickets for $86 a person, but I dont like that you have to save a piece of paper until you get to Orlando instead of hard tickets. Do you get actual hard tickets at Costco? If not, we might as well buy the Universal deal off their website.

Thanks!

We bought ours online at Costco last spring for a couple trips this coming winter. On the back, just above the barcode, they say, "Automatic activation on 12/30/07" so they'll expire at the end of March, 2008, or 3-months from first use, whichever comes first. These are no longer available online at Costco.

I don't know if the ones at your local Costco store are from the same batch or not. You may want to ask the Costco manager to allow you to see the actual ticket to look at the back for yourself.

BTW, it would probably be helpful to someone else here if you could share the location of any Costco store that has them in stock. There's at least one Costco near Atlanta that does NOT have them (SIL checked for me).

Hmmm... I've been hunting all over the Costco website, and for the *life* of me, can't locate the 3-month pass mentioned. I'd love to get one, but no clue where to order... anyone have a link perhaps?? Thanks!

I just looked too and I didn't see anything on this (there is an annual pass offer, though). I've seen this offered online from time to time, but have noticed that there are times when it just disappears for a while.
I'd check back every so often - click on the Gifts & Tickets link, then on Tickets & Gift Certificates on the new page. The Theme and Water Parks link will take you to the right place.

Actually, I saw the 3 month deal at an actual Costco store.

We got the online Costco 3-month passes Fall 2006 and when we went to activate them that November, Uni was running a "buy an AP get 3 months for free" deal. However, we ended up getting 15-MONTHs. Don't really know why and I was kind of afraid to ask - when I realized we actually had Annual Passes + 3 months...but it's nice.

agnes!

It is my understanding that these tickets were a *mistake* and were not supposed to sold anymore by Costco? This was the official word from Universal when I was there for al TA visit in May...
