I just saw this planning guide and it looks to have a lot of pictures. Anyone ever bought this book? It's Aronda Parks Making Memories.

I have the 2004 edition. This one doesn't have all that many photos, but more than Passporter and UG. I am a bit of a guidebook junkie, so I have a fair few Disney ones to compare it with. It's got a lot of info, I just don't feel that it's set out very well (I love how easy Passporter is to navigate, but doen't have a lot of info, just the basics, a cross between these two would be perfect!)) Not knowing what this years one looks like I don't know, (might have more pictures!) but it could be organised a bit better, you need the index abit too much to find ride descriptions. Has some really helpful sidebars with advice and factoids. I think I would probably buy another copy in a few years, but it's not on list to buy every year...and I do buy a few every year!!

I got mine two weeks ago. The book has some of updated information & explains alot of things from more than one point of view. I also got the Prep Pad with mine. You can write down all you PS numbers & confirmation numbers & it is half the size of the PassPorter. I used to use the Birnbaums until I found the PassPorter. I will bring both the Passorter & Prep Pad with me in October. I to love to read all the guide books & the Dis Boards, you can get alot of good info & tips!! Happy Planning!

I have it. It isn't something I would buy again and I haven't picked it up since I first read it.

I prefer UG and Passporter.

I agree with ReggieB, it's not laid out well and the 'tips' seemed to be either common sense or things that we've shared many a time on the boards. Since you're (obviously) a board reader, I would recommend the Passporter or the Unofficial Guide. Birnbaum's has good pictures, but the info is better in the other two.

The reason it looks interesting is because of all of the pictures that it says it has. And, the video cd. I might have to get it and see.
