Has anyone bought "frozen cookie dough" from school fundraisers?

Skywalker I see you are from the GTA ( as are we). So I must ask if it is Mac Millans you are ordering from. If so this will be our 3 rd year ordering from them. I have not been disappointed with them. Our family has ordered both muffin and cookie batter and they are great. Nothing like warm cookies as a treat .

I hated the cookie dough...the cookies didn't bake right.

As a fundraiser, I think it's horrible. You're selling stuff that has to be temperature-controlled, which is nearly impossible, and then the cut isn't decent.

That's my opinon...only from the experience of handling such a fundraiser before....

I was pleased with the taste of the cookie dough we got from my niece's fundraiser years ago. However, the order form failed to indicate that the oatmeal raisen was mnaufactrered in a plant that processes tree nuts. My kids are deathly allergic therefore I had to give the cookie dough to my sister-in-law. Girl Scout cookies are the only ones I have seen that provide the ingredient list on the order form.

We have sold for various fundraisers and also bought from other kids. I have had all different kinds and can honestly say we haven't had any bad ones. I like it because I can bake as few or as many as I want without mixing up a whole batch and having to bake them all! It also lasts in the freezer for a long time, can be thawed out slightly and refrozen, and yes, is good straight from the tub!

We love the White Macadamia Nut, Chunky Chocolate Chip, and Triple Chocolate! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I haven't...

But my rule for any and all fundraisers..if I don't like it or can't use it, I don't bother. I'll give a donation if necessary, but I'm not going to buy an item for the sake of participating in the fundraiser.

the forzen dough is not bad, but we like to bake from scratch around here. I still have dough from last year's fundraiser and now my daughter is starting this year's campaign.
