has anyone bought from babywise.com

Hi I am looking for a stroller that everywhere I look says is not yet avaliable, except this store that claims to have them in stock. I don't want to buy it and then have to wait for them to get it in. Anyone ever bought from them, baby-wise.com

I don't think that's a real site. I think it's one of those sneaky, throw viruses on your computer, not a merchant, sites. The way they are tossing popups around on my Mac right now, and the general look of the site agree with me.

I put babywise.com into my address bar, and then did www.babywise.com, and got the same thing, and I really don't think it's an actual "selling" site, just a search site.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I am looking fro the Mac volo in the new 2008 raspberry/black. I really want it before Easter, but everyone says , back ordered, not avaliable until..., or out of stock. So it is confusing to know wheather or not it has even come out yet. Toys R Us does not have that color listed at all.

Dang, that IS a hard stroller to find!

If I were in a time crunch and wanted such a specific (and cute) stroller, I'd look through the site, through any FAQ section, through their policies, I might google the name, perhaps look on BBB, and if nothing nasty came up, I'd probably go for it.

And I'd do it soon, before all the Dis'ers snag their stock from ya.

I just googled "volo raspberry", and the first site that popped up (adolcebaby) had it, seemingly in stock. Of course, there's another mystery website that I've never heard of before, so I guess it's no different than baby-wise!


Actually, googling around and looking at stores, rather than search engines, that come up in the search results, is showing me other places where it's available...just not in any of my "known" baby gear sites.


I hope someone can come in with rave reviews for you, so you don't have to "rely" on my thoughts and googling much longer.

Thanks, just from what I have seen I am a little worried about those sites. I talked to a local shop the other day to see if she could get it and she has not called me back yet, I know she would if she heard something because I know her family. I am thinking also of getting the triumph. I would have to get last years model since they are cheaper, but I love that raspberry.

I think I might have ordered from them in the past, but I can't remember. I like that raspberry color and I don't even have a girl! I already have a black volo for my DS.
