Has anyone bought a case of water at DVCs lately?

This was a timely post. I was trying to do the math on how much water we'd need for our 8 adult 2 kid group in our villa for a week and it was mind-boggling. (2x waters/day for park use ONLY x 10 people x 7 days = 140 bottles or 11 12-packs!). We're trying to think now about Brita pitchers, gallon jugs, bottles that filter, etc.

Would a PUR thingy fit on the faucet?

I just know the taste is memorably bad and we'll be drinking a lot of water...otherwise we'd definitely be using tap. That said, we're spoiled with pretty tasty tap water here in MN. Ugh!

Two bottles per person to take into the park adds up to a lot of water. That's almost a case. How about everyone takes one bottle in and refills as needed during the day. Perhaps when you stop for lunch get ice water at a CS.

this is exactly what we do. We use neoslings, carry one 20 oz bottle, and refill as we go!

We have Owners Locker and put a water purifier in it. We load our previously used water bottles with the purified water and we are good to go.

I think that would be a loooong walk from the Speedway formerly Hess formerly Exxon across from Disney Springs formerly Downtown Disney Marketplace formerly Disney Village Marketplace all the way back to a villa at Saratoga Springs formerly Disney Institute. lol I don't think I could carry a big case of water that far.

This made me smile. My cousin and her husband visited WDW yearly when their three girls were little and always stayed at the Swan or Dophin (nurse discount). Her husband would always walk to the Hess Station with their empty stroller and buy a case of water and a 12 pack of beer. He used to tell funny stories about the looks/comments he would get pushing the empty stroller on the way down, and the beer filled stroller on the way back.

I have had packages delivered to bWv and not been charged . I have been told that they would have to have it bought. Up to desk . That charge does not make sense to me.

I usually bring my empty suitcase with me when I walk to the gas station to get a case of water. Not as bad as walking with a stroller full of beer.
