Has anyone been to "The Sound of Music Sing-a-long"?

I saw it a few months ago and had a blast! The Sound of Music is my all-time favorite movie. I wasn't sure what to expect of the sing-a-long. It ended up being like a family version of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We sang along, shouted out things to the screen, and waved our props.
People dress up in costume too. At our show, we had "girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes"; others were "brown paper packages tied up with strings"; tons of people dressed up as nuns, etc. The winner was a woman who looked exactly like Maria when she stepped off the bus from the abbey - hat, dress, guitar case and all!
I guarantee you will have a great time if you go!

I went to it a year ago last summer! That's my all time fav movie. It was a lot of fun, but admittedly the interactive stuff gets a little old with a nearly 3 hour movie!

When certain people came on the screen, you had to do certain things:

For Maria, cheer
Grettle = "aawwww"
Rolf = "roof, roof roof"
Baroness = "hisssss"
Nazis = "Boo!"

People were ad-libbing things all night. When the Captain was giving the Baroness the boot, my friend and I started singing "na na na na, na na na na, Hey, Hey, Hey, goodbye!" Pretty soon the whole theater was singing along!

They also put the words to all of the songs on the screen.

I agree AngieBelle. We had a group of women behind us who had to comment on EVERYTHING. After a while, it wasn't funny, it just got on our nerves.
