Has anyone been to the AKL bar

inside? Do they have any unique beers, or is it the normal Bud, Coors Light, Sam Adams, Yuengling, Killians? Also, what time does it stay open til, and is the pool bar open til midnight?

IT's been a year since we've been there, so hopefully you'll get a more current response.
Last time we were there, they had no draft beer whatsoever, and aside from the usual suspects, they had Tusker, Casablanca, and Zambezi.

On a previous trip, they had Safari Amber (very much like Michelob Amber Bock) available on draft. I recall a recent post where someone said they had it back at the bar--but I'm not sure about that.

I wish I could remember what types of beers they had but hubby and I enjoyed a Michelob Ultra (yes, very original) and one of the South African beers. I have the label at home, but do not remember the name of it. We also got the mixed nuts which were a very tasty snack. I believe this place is called Victoria Falls? We stopped here before a fabulous dinner at Jiko and cannot wait to do it all over again in the future.

We didn't go to the inside bar, but the pool bar had African Amber and DH, who's not a big fan of dark beers except Killian's and Yuengling, said it was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the Victorian Falls Mist.

WOW! You can get Yuengling in NC??? Yuengling is my favorite and for the longest time was only available in PA -- I live near Pottsville where it is manufactured and we affectionately call it, "Pottsville Champagne."

I'm from NJ and still have family in Cherry Hill. The first time DH and I tasted Yuengling we were visiting my brother. We liked it so much we brought 2 cases home. What a great surprise to find out it's all over the grocery stores here in New Bern, NC. We'd just never noticed it before.

They actually opened a production plant in Florida now. I hope to be able to find it in Orlando soon.

lare there TV's at the Victoria Falls lounge? There are occasions, I cannot watch our TV (disney channel, disney toon network, zip a dee doo dah tip for today...you know what I mean) and need to find a bar or lounge. Doubt the neighbors would want be watching their TV!!!

IS the Victoria Lounge open til midnight? Is it only the Lounge and pool bar, or is there another option?

Like the AS Mo pool bar open til midnight and am afraid I am going to miss it.

Like the AS Mo pool bar open til midnight and am afraid I am going to miss it.

You may want to venture over to the ESPN Zone at the Boardwalk Resort -- unless you had your heart set on staying at AKL.

DH just informed me that the beer he had (and enjoyed) was Casablanca.

I believe that Victoria Falls is one of those little nook and cranny kind of jems at WDW. It's a great place to people watch as you can see over Boma and watch people ascend from the lobby down the staircase.
