What was it like? Was it worth it? Do adults get to trick or treat or just the kids?

With Halloween almost here, we are trying to decide if it is worth venturing over there in the next week or two.

We did the Spooktacular pirate: a couple of years ago and it is ok. The trick or treat is just for the kids though.

We found the decorations are good but it is not anything like the brilliant Disney version and definitley aimed at younger kids, but saying that we enjoyed it and have planned to go back this year too

It is a lot of fun! Adults can trick or treat as well as kids. Lots of kids were dressed up. Lots of special characters walking around.

We were there about 2 weeks ago and everyone was invited to Trick or Treat.

We did this back in 2006 and enjoyed it. :goodvibes It's included in your park ticket, so no additional charge for all the extra activities, or to see the characters in their Halloween costumes. :thumbsup2

We were there on Oct 11. I carried my son's trick-or-treat bag around while he went to ride Kraken, and had no one even think anything about it. We went around several times to the booths - especially the peanut and M&M booths! Cute decorations. Lots of characters walking around. We did not do the Spooktacular show, though. Not worth paying extra just to go to it, but it was a lot of fun for the kids. We had planned to go that day anyway, and did not realize they were having it until we were in the park.

Yes! We were there on Friday, Oct. 24. Me & DH were not dressed up in costumes and we did not have kids. The SW employees were awesome and gave us a lot of candy. I hate to say it but we actually got the same amount of candy at Spooktacular as we did at MNSSHP! (About 1/3 of a bag for each me and my DH.) Spooktacular was awesome!!!

Thanks everyone!

We went this past Saturday and it was fun! It was crowded though. My nephew loved the Halloween show with Elmo(if going, get there early). We loved getting candy but it was a nice surprise to get bananas!
