We're going next year at that time and I was just wondering if there is anything to be aware of (parades, tons of people, etc.). Let me know.

Me!! Me!! Me!! :D :D :D

I wasn't there for Easter Sunday, but I went a few days before. All I remember was an Easter Parade. It ran instead of the Magical Moments parade. It was nice, but nothing spectacular. I can't remember there being anything else, but maybe someone can help me out?
:)

I've been in WDW at least 3 times during Easter (on the actual day). Usually, I would go to church in the morning, then head over to the MK. Hint: do not go to MK on Easter Day!! It was SOO crowded!! We could hardly get out of the park because of all the people and the parade. But if you do go to MK, go on rides during the parade, but be aware it will be harder to get around. I went when they used to film Easter Parade and show them on ABC, but they don't do that anymore so maybe (just maybe) there's a tiny bit less people there, but I kinda doubt it. Whatever you do, just be prepared to deal with crowds!! Oh and take advantage of fast pass! When I went on Easter, they didn't have fast pass- meaning a 2 hour wait for rides like Splash Mountain!!

Have a nice trip! :bounce:

I was there for Easter 1997 and it was quite busy. I can't remember it being really really busy but my mum just reminded me that they had to close MK on Easter Saturday because it was full. (I couldn't remember this though! )

There was a special Easter parade which was good but the music did get a bit repetitive after a while!! You have been warned!! lol:) And there was also an Easter egg hunt at our hotel(Caribbean Beach)Some of the other resorts may do this too though. However, my sister and I were really disappointed because we didn't get back in time to do the hunt. But, true to form, Disney bent over backwards for their guests and the CM who had been surpervising the hunt handed us two spare bags full of sweets etc. which really made our day!

The weather and climate are also good at Easter time:it's not too hot and not too cold.

Hope this helps!
