Christmas Store in Michigan?

We're heading up to MI on Thursday to visit family for Thanksgiving. While we're up there I plan to do a little shopping. If you've been to Bronner's what was your opinion of the store? Do you think the merchandise there is any different than the normal stores in the mall?

TIA

Oh, you should go! It's a huge store and they have items from many different countries. It just puts me into a festive mood.

Depending on where you're going in Michigan--there's also a great Christmas store at Canterbury Commons near the Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall off I-75. There are a lot of other little stores there that are fun to go through, as well.

I've been there, many times. I guess you could find their merchandise in other places, but they have *so* much. If it's for Christmas, you'll find it there. The neat thing about Bronner's is that there are also a lot of other gift stores in Frankenmuth nearby and there is a HUGE outlet mall at the exit where you get off of 75 to go to Bronner's to begin with. Definitely worth the trip, if you like shopping.

Thanks! We're definitely going to the outlet mall. They have a lot of great stores in there.

Go to Bronner's! There's no other place like it. :D

Bronner's is a wonderful store. Several football fields in size, it's filled with every holiday item you can imagine. I never leave without finding something I just can't live without!

My sister and I are heading to the Birch Run outlet mall this weekend, too. The Pottery Barn Outlet is opening on Saturday!!! We're BEYOND excited!! :hyper:

I was there about 3 weeks ago! I love it!! We go at least once a year....but it's only about 45 mins from my house:)
You will be amazed at the size of the store!!
They have things that can be found other places but I think some fo their items are unique

I loved Bronner's when I went in 8/1994. It has something for just bout everyone. The Silent Night chapel on the grounds was beautiful. I hope to go back some day.

I was have been there. I wasn't that impressed. Seemed like a bunch of stuff I could find anywhere. Fun to look though. JMHO.

However, try Zehnder's (sp?) for dinner. Yummy! :)

Go!
We try to get there at least once per year. Yes, each item can probably be found elsewhere. However, you're never going to find ALL of the items under one roof like you can at Bronner's.

Have fun!

Dave

Definitely go to Bronner's. It's really quite an experience. The store is HUGE. It will really put you in the mood for Christmas, if nothing else.

We had dinner at Zhender's in Frankenmuth on Saturday. It is always a treat. We go at least twice a year.

Christopher Radko was in Frankenmuth on Saturday signing ornaments. The place was hopping!!!!

Another vote to go to Bronners.

It's huge and fun just to look around.

Have Fun!

OMG yes! You have to go. Although you may see some stuff you've seen other places, the sheer size of the place is amazing and the quality (and quantity) of decorations is not to be believed.

It's a wonderful place if you like Christmas!

I've been to Bronner's many times, as recently as the day before yesterday. I think you should go take a look. The store is humongous, and lots of fun to look through. One word of advice though -- the day after Thanksgiving is a terrible day to go. I've tried that twice and it was wall to wall people (literally).

If you want to get in the Christmas mood, don't miss Bronner's! :yo-yo:

yes it full of christmas www.frankenmuth.com will get you to the area there.. dont forget to eat chicken at Zenders the chicken soup is wonderful i go there to get carry out. plan on spending the day .

We go to Bronner's all the time. I absolutely *adore* it, as does my mother and my DD-2. They have an ornament for practically everything you can think off. Need a hocky puck Christmas ornament? Bronner's probably has it. What about a cow ornament? Bronner's. A margarita glass ornament? Bronner's.

The store is huge and has yard displays (signs/figures/nativites), dozens of fake trees, garlands, lights, tree toppers, ornaments, candy, stockings, tree skirts, advent calenders, children's toys and animals and books, Christmas cards, Precious Moments items, Department 56 items plus hundreds of other indoor display pieces, vases, figurines, candles, wreathes, Santa suits, etc. So much I'm sure I'm forgetting something.

You know those displays that some of the Disney Store's had along the tops of the walls, below the ceiling, with scenes from movies and many different characters? Well, Bronner's has the same sort of thing, only with holiday-related scenes. Also, I love to go at night because they have tons of lights and displays outside.

I guess I just love Christmas so a place like Bronner's is heaven to me. If you love Christmas decorating, you'll probably love Bronner's too. Have fun!

However, try Zehnder's (sp?) for dinner. Yummy!

I'll second that!

We've been to Bronners once and it was in April. I think there were about 10 people in the whole place! I bet that won't be the case this time of year!

Go to Bronners then go down the street for one of the best chicken dinners you'll ever have! Order the family style dinner; you won't be sorry! We're only about a half hour away and we don't go nearly enough. Also, stop by the outlet mall. They've opened some new stores, including a new coach outlet! *my major spending sinning is done there!*

Have fun!
Debbie
