Has anyone been on Expedition Everest yet?

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

If you do a search on this board, you'll find lots of threads from people who rode the previews for Expedition Everest in the last week or so.

We have no way of knowing if you'll be scared though. Why not read through the other threads and decide for yourself?

Have fun,

Bob

There are no loops, corkscrews, batwings, or inversions of any type. I don't know what "scares" you on a rollercoaster, but this information may help.

My personal opinion is---"It's Great!"

You should be scared the first time--that's the fun part of a great new thrill ride! ;) I'm not going to post any spoilers--it's a great ride. :thumbsup2 For intensity, it's probably between Big Thunder and R&R. The themeing is so great. The only thing I found a little scary was the way up, up, up. You can actually see the tall landmarks from the other parks! You're held in by a lap bar. I rode EE 8 times until I got jelly-legs. My kids went for 10. :)

It is great, you shouldn't be scared. The most intense part, I think anyway, is the going backwards..lol.

I think it's the best thing that's happened to Disney since Walt opened the MK!

Well maybe that's a stretch, but it is very good.

The queue is soo increadibily detailed and the ride itself has a couple of surprises. A true Roller Coaster Junkie will probably think it's just so so. It's not as intense as RnR more on par with BTMRR but it's really cool.

It's wonderful and you can't miss it. Ride it at least once & decide for yourself. The parts that some condider a bit intense are over before you know it. Just do it! :thumbsup2
