Has anyone been happy with every place they have stayed?

As a PP said, not perfect but we've enjoyed aspects of every resort we've stayed at and hope to return to all of them (with one exception, in which horrible customer service has left such a nasty feeling in my tummy, that we'll be taking a break from staying there as wonderful as the resort itself is.)

In recent years we had stayed at POP(05) and CBR(07). We enjoyed both visits very much even after I read unhappy posts about both resorts. Now years ago my DH and I visited Sports when it was brand new:thumbsup2 and then Dixie landings:) Great trips too. My DS is requested Sports on our next trip. It won't be the actual value resort I will be worried about but the large groups w/noise that I read about. If they do renovate Sports it will help with my decision. So I guess we never had a bad experience.

over the years, we've stayed at the following resorts:

Shades of Green - it will always hold a special place for us, it was the first place we stayed as a family. :)
Dixie Landings/PO-R - we had one not-so-great stay there (it was more that the weather was lousy every day of the trip, and it really brought us down.) We've since had 2 great stays there :)
Coronado Springs - didn't love it. Our room assignment, as part of a convention, wasn't great and the service at the food court was awful. That might have made am impact on our stay there.
Contemporary - loved it. Stayed in the North garden wing through Shades of Green.
Wilderness Lodge - our favorite.
Polynesian - DH & I stayed there, and always hoped to go back with outr kids ... but we never seemed to make that happen. Now it's more than I'd pay for resort stay :(
Swan our second (very close) favorite, especially back in the days of Thabo & Mama T on the Club Floor.
Dolphin - our resort of choice this trip (combined with an offiste condo) LOVE the SPG points :cool1:

we Really loved them all
I did not like staying DTD as the buses are not the same as being in a Disney owned resort- Also DH was just diagnosed with MS- So we were so happy to be at WDW but so worried at the same time-

Caribean Beach- this was a long time ago & the buses were like 60 min in between- We just started jumping on the first bus-This became a game to this day we play first bus We were told they were having problems at the time. We really loved the resort other wise

We don't love them all. All Star Sports, Pop, WL, YC, and GF are all never agains for us. Each had their own unique set of problems or didn't inspire a feeling of welcome, so we've chalked it up to experience.

CBR, SSR, AKL are on our happy list. Mostly AKL. We're trying CSR and CR this year, so it will be interesting to see how those pan out for us.

I've loved about 90% of my stays. The Poly was wonderful, as was POP and POFQ. I didn't like All Star Movies but that was due to a 'caddyshack' incident in the pool and I attribute that to a guest's fault rather than Disney's. There is also some bush they plant there that drives my allergies crazy. It isn't at Pop but it is at the All-Stars.

Is there something minor about each stay I didn't like, yes. But it wasn't anything to detract from the good time my WDW vacation gave me. :thumbsup2
