Just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of how much it would cost for 2 adults & 2 kids to go to Florida for Christmas in a villa for 2 weeks with TCD?
Is anyone booked to go or have already been?

Im not travelling with TCD but with virgin. Booked thru Bon Voyage in January at £419 AD + £325 CH. Im just looking to get a villa now roughly £800-£1000 for a 3 bed.

Just had a quote from TCD for 20th dec for 14 nights.
3 bedroomed villa with private pool, fully inclusive car hire ( ford Mondeo type) flights and all taxes.
£3,458!!!!!!!!!
this is for 2 adults and 2 kids.
I can't go this year as I am already going in January 04 but I think I will be booking for xmas next year.
I have to wait a couple of months until the prices become available, they only go as far as September at the moment

why don't you get a quote from florida 'R' us. they are on teletext page 222. We went with them over xmas 2000 and our total was only £2,400. that was for 2 wks + villa and car hire with full insurance. there are 5 of us our teens are classed as adults so the cost was therefore for 4 adults and a 10 year old. worth giving them a ring.

can you tell me more about them like what are the villas like and the flights, are they direct?

HI!
When we went with florida r us we flew with Continental airlines on a 777. It was the best service you could wish for. The flight stopped in newark new york and then an internal flight to orlando international. We booked to go a day earlier and so stopped in new york for 1 night (wonderful) all arranged by florida r us.
The villa was great, it was at the beginning of the osceola parkway which was handy for the parks.
If their price was cheap this time we would of gone with them this time, but they quoted £2,700 and travel city was £2, 027 but we still have to pay for a villa in the gulf area, which will be around £400.
I hope all this helps you. I always phone up at least 8 firms on page 222. My worst quote was for £3, 850 from choice air . It is worth a few phone calls to save a fortune!!
