Has anyone arrived to find that their reservation was cancelled?

sorry what is the different betweeen the 2 credits

I just assumed it came from the resort instead of MS.:confused3 I guess I figured if it was due to an error on the part of MS we would have been credited points instead of $$$. I guess in the scheme of things it doesn't really matter. I was just curious how often "system errors" occur.
 
How scary!! That is my fear with our upcoming trip to BWV using DD points. I have been given a confirmation # over the phone a couple of times, but they never sent me an e-mail or phone confirmation. They did when we stayed at AKV using DD points. I have called many times since February and asked for a confirmation I can "see" and they always assure me it will be there in "7-10 business days." The last time they said it would show up by June 30th - still nothing. This is making me nervous since I don't have anything to actually show them at check-in, just the # they gave me over the phone.
 
This did happen to us one time! Here we were arriving late at night as we travel from the far NW corner of the US, the front desk person checks and rechecks her computer and our reservations aren't there. Thank goodness that I brought my confirmation letter as when I showed her that, she went into the back room and mysteriously came out with our rooms. That confirmation letter is like gold now and I will never travel without it as that was my only proof that I actually had a reservation!

I guess this is the moral of the story;) Disney seems to work it all out in the end Thank Goodness! (Of course this is all after the initial heart attack on hearing "your reservation was cancelled!:scared1: )
