Has anybody eaten at Cookes (near Raglan Rd in DTD)?

How was it? I'm interested in the scallops. Does it come with fries or something? Deb's menu doesn't say.

The menu here on the DIS doesn't say either. But it does list a side of chips for $3.

absolutely LOVE Cooks but never ordered the scallops. The shrimp is sooooooooo good I just can't make myself try something else!

I've eaten there a few times! Haven't had the scallops, but I love the fish and chips. Yummy!

I also LOVE Cooke's...The Fish and Chips are awesome as well as the shrimp but the truly amazing thing is dessert They time your order so that when your done your dessert is also done, I have tried both the donut things and the fried candy bar and while the donuts were good the fried candy bar was to die for The ooey gooey center with the deep fried outside just heavenly...

Can't say anything about the scallops but if they are like the rest of the food youll have no problems!

I've had both the scallops & the shrimp. Both were very good. Yes they do come with "chips" (fries in America). The Fish portion is huge but I haven't tried it. One of these days I plan to try out the pie that has the mushrooms in it. It sounds really tasty.

The fish and chips are wonderful, the beef and lamb pie is extraordinary, and Dh had the mini battered sausages and it was pretty good, he loved it (my stomach isn't a huge fan of sausage).

It is a must visit on each trip now.

We really enjoyed our meal there..I had the scallops and they came with chips (fries) and DH had the shrimp and they also came with chips....the food was fantastic! The only bad part of the meal was the so called cole slaw...it was terrible! Just huge pieces of cabbage and carrots tossed in mayo, no taste at all
