Has anybody collected there Eurostar ticket from the ticket machines?

Im thinking of collecting my Eurostar ticket at Ashford station next week to save on the £5 postage.
It says ticket can be collected from the self service machine from the station along with your booking number.
Has anybody done this as im scared I'll go and there wil be no recollection of my booking.

We did this when we went in Dec and it was SO easy, would definitely recommend it! We had no choice as we booked on Christmas Eve (which was also a Sunday) and went on 27th so we had to take the bull by the horns but it was excellent! There's quite a few machines as well so there's unlikely to be much in the way of long queues I wouldn't've thought Just need to remember to take with you the card you bought them with, as the machine uses that to confirm that you are the person who paid for them!

Edit: we went from St P's and there was quite a few machines there, but don't know about number at Ashford

We tried to but it couldn`t find our tickets-bloomin TA had written down the wrong number but the people behind the desk were great and found them quite quickly!!

I would make sure you allow a little extra time to do this, as every time I collected my tickets at Waterloo I had a problem, their machines never liked my credit card! We then had to queue up to get them printed, and while this was never an issue, it did require a bit of time obviously. Don't forget to take the credit card with you used to book the tickets.

Having said that, we collected tickets at St Pancras on Boxing Day, with no problem, other than accidentally printing off tickets for Easter at the same time . I was worried, as I planned to change our departure from Ashford to Pancras, but on speaking to Eurostar they said we can board using the tickets anyway!
