Has anybody been successful in adding days to their "free dining" ressie?

Hi -

I just tried to add one extra night to our reservation (we are planning to stay at the CSR on 10/2-10/8). I just called and they said that they were booked with the YMP (free dining) code. I understand the logistics of this, but I was wondering if anybody else has been lucky enough to alter their existing reservations?

We are looking to add 10/1...do you think I have any chance?????? Should I just wait to check close to the 45 day mark to see if anybody has cancelled, or should I try sooner?

Any answers (and hopefully some positive posts of people who were originally told no, but then called and got the extra nights) will be most welcome

I just called 2 days ago to add an extra night onto our ressies at POFQ and was able to do so and got the extra free day of dining. I was pretty psyched since I know they have a limited amount to give out.

I would try again in a few weeks to see if there are any changes. Can't hurt to try. Good luck.

I also was successful in adding one day instead of leaving Sept.3, now leaving Sept 4.

I added on a day to our stay also, no problem at all!

We added two extra days: Aug 21-28 was what we 1st booked now we leave on the 30th (though I think we did that before the free dining was up). Maybe it depends on the resort (we're at POFQ).

My mom added days to hers & my brothers but they did that awhile back when it was first anouced. Also they are there later ( end Sept begin Oct) so not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Successfully added Sept 30 to our Oct 1 - 8th reservation. This was at ASMu so perhaps it is all dependent on the availability at your resort for the free dining plan package. Try again and good luck!

Thanks all for your positive words. After trying two to three times a day for the past three days I just was able to add my extra night. We will be at CSR from 10/1-10/8. I am so excited - my CM said to me "see there really is sometimes disney magic" after I told her how hard I had been trying without any luck.

Good luck to anybody else who is trying to add on days, my advice is to keep calling for availability - you never know when someone might cancel their plans!

Looks like we will be at CSR at the same time My TA was able to add an extra day to our reservations yesterday, so we will now be staying Oct. 1st - 8th as well

I got an extra day today at the All Star Music. Arriving on the 1st instead of the 2nd of October.

They have just re-released the offer, so changes should be possible again (there seems to be more availability this time as well!).
