Headed to the world in Septmeber (low crowds!) and visiting magic kingdom on a night with two MSEP showings. My question is if you have viewed it from the hub before how early should we arrive. I can go to either shwoing though. Second would be better; less people, less waiting. So how early to have a view of Cinderlla castle during the parade?

:) thanks

It varies, so that's a hard one to predict. One option might be to get a FastPass for the parade, in which case you get the view you're wanting. We have done that once, and while I hated "wasting" a FP on the parade, it was actually quite nice. We were able sit on the sidewalk, front-and-center. Being so relaxed, our younger daughter actually fell asleep, which prompted two entertaining results: (1) Dopey saw her from his little train and pointed at her and put his hands to the side of his head, as if he was asleep; and (2) Cinderella's stepsisters saw her and started yelling at her to wake up - ha!

Thinking more about the FP option, it did seem like that whole little in the center of the hub was roped-off, so if that's the precise view you'd like to have, a FP might actually be necessary. We have not seen the MSEP since they have opened up all the new "garden" areas around the hub, so I'm not sure how (or if) that might affect the enjoyment of the parade....guessing it's better for fireworks than the parade.

The later parade is almost always significantly less crowded. It's cool to watch from the hub because the floats have to slow down to make the circle so you typically get a little bit more viewing time (not huge, but 15-30 seconds more- very valuable for photography). IF I remeber correctly, the night parades leave from the fire station side first, then, for the 2nd parade, from by Splash. So, if that's what they still do, then the timing would be different because of the hubs location to different starting spots. But at least 15-20 minutes before start to secure your spot, unless it's looking like a very low crowd night. Hope that helps!

The FP+ viewing for parades is no longer in the Hub.
It is at Town Square.

If you have a FP+ for both MSEP -and- Wishes, it takes some careful planning and tight timing to get from Town Square to the Hub.

I guess I didn't know this. Is it a permanent thing, or just during the hub area construction?

Nobody knows.
I wouldn't be too surprised if they moved it back to the hub after the construction is completed.
Anything is possible.

Aaaaaggghhh! That was always our parade-viewing spot (Town Square). Always seemed like you could get to that mini-hub in Town Square close to parade time and still have a great spot. Maybe by the time we get back down there (Halloween), they will move it back. It is a great spot indeed, but seems like the castle hub would be more worthy of FP.
