When I went to a them park in CA I witnessed a guy yelling at a group of girls for wanting to cut in front of him to catch up to their group to the point to were the man was causing a scene.

I've seen people argue. I've seen people refuse to move and watched the line jumpers knock them out of the way. I've seen people refuse to move and then have arguing.

I've witnessed loads of BTGs line jump and laugh.

I've seen it all.

Disney knows it all goes on and have chosen to allow it.

yes - and I am one of those that will not line jumpers in front of me - they can get in behind me and if the people that were behind me allow them to stay there - that is up to them.

I have stood in line and so can they.

It would be annoying (to put it mildly) for groups of people to line hop ... now a mom and one little kid (who HAD to go!) ... or maybe one lone BOZO but a group ... BLEH! Maybe I wouldn't yell at them but I would be muttering choice words under my breath. And I'm sure lots of people have witnessed others reacting to many negative situations.

But I prefer to witness the happy moments, the way CMs make children smile -- the characters ... all rainbows and unicorns for me!

Part two of the story is because of the line jumpers is that he and his kids were cut off so he mad the CM for lack of better term kick off the line jumpers so he could get on the ride and that took easily 10 min.

I agree but unfortunately not every moment is a happy one

Personally this has never happened to me. Could be the fact that I'm 6'2" and 285 and a powerlifter. Some reason people avoid me.

Why are you surprised? Other amusement parks do not allow line jumping and will promptly deal with teens who think they can hop the rail and cut everyone else in line.

If they were a group, then they should have waited for the girls before getting in line. Spouse or spouse with child, ok. A gaggle of girls cutting in front of me? I would ignore them. They could catch up with their "group" at the ride exit.

I asked my sis once about line jumping (she worked ToT in DHS and is currently working at AK) and she said Disney won't really do anything about line jumping. They take the path of least resistance (which I don't agree with). I once saw a gradfatherly-aged man make snide comments and call a girl a "cutter" every time he passed her just because she saved a place in line for one other person. Now I don't think what she did was right, but he was sooooo ridiculously immature about it.

I have been going to Disney for 24yrs and never witnessed anything like this however this was not Disney

OMG I had this happen to me NYE a few years back. I was in Epcot and of course it was slammed and I literally had HOURS to kill so I decided to do Test Track since it had a single rider line and I was solo. So i waited in the single riders line for HOURS and of course it kept breaking down again and again. Well this family of (apparently) non English speaking people mom, son and daughter managed to slide in and keep budding in front of everyone behind me and when we got to a turn in the line they cut in front of me. NOT HAPPENING!!! So I called them out on it and asked the people who were in front of me if they were with them they said no. So I told them get back behind me NOW!! They played all "we don't understand, no speak English" So I stepped right up in front of them and held my ground. After another hour or so got to the video room and walked right through cause they weren't even bothering with the video and get into the next line. When I got put into a car they kept saying "3" "3 of us" and the CM kept saying "SINGLE RIDERS LINE YOU WILL BE SPLIT UP" When it's blatantly obvious you are just trying to cut forget it. If you meeting your party fine but I won't have you jump in front of me. If one person lets them that's how it starts

That is how everyone behind this guy felt that he was being immature about it

That surprises me that the single rider line would not be stated in Spanish as well most things in WDW are bilingual

Yep we stand our ground also. Doesn't really take that much. you want to be together with the 1 person on up, then they can stay put and wait on you to get there.
