I have heard that there are size restrictions for the manta. But have no idea how strict they may be. I have heard that there is a sample seat that you can try but I would rather not do that I front of everyone unless I have some clue as to what size other people are that either tried the seat or rode the ride. Right now I am a about a 20w or 2x. I say right now because I have been losing lbs all summer.

Sounds like I am the same size. I did try out the seat first and luckily the green light appeared. Better than standing in line and finding out then. The test seat is right by the lockers (free for an our I think).
We went in early with our passes and got to ride 3 times with no wait before the line ups started.
It's a very short ride. I enjoyed it tho I'm not uch of a ride person.

Thank you so much for the reply. it sounds like it might get to ride it. wow you got in early. what kind of passes did you have?

We have silver passes. For the summer you could get in an hour early to ride Manta.

I'm an 18 and had no trouble at all with it. My husband is 5'9" and 220; he didn't have a problem, either.

I am a 2x /size 20 also and I tried the test seat. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the green light. I was so humiliated! I would say it depends on your body type. I am large in the chest area, which made it difficult to fit. Good luck, the ride looks fun.
