Is anyone as excited as me ! :bounce: We have booked our tickets to see this on Bank Holiday Monday.

Anyone else going to see it?

My tickets are booked to see it on the first Saturday it is out :teeth:

Looking forward to the film but we always like to wait until there's less clamour for seats and we can go without booking in advance!

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how the different director has handled this!

I'm booking my tickets tomorrow, I'm soooooooo excited :Pinkbounc Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite of the books so I'm even more excited than when the first 2 films came out lol. The trailers I've seen have been amazing!! Glad to see I'm not the only Harry Potter nut around here

Hi there

I'm hoping to book our tickets today. I am as big a Harry Potter fan as I am a Disney fan. I've read all the books about 5 times each. I'm really looking forward to the film, but not as much as I'm looking forward to the next book - 'PLEASE HURRY UP Ms JK ROWLING' (i'm sure she must read these boards, as there so fantastic!!!!).

We've booked to see it on Bank Holiday Monday as well! I'm always keen to see it before other people tell me their opinions (so that I'm not disappointed etc).

My tickets are also booked for the 31st. This is my son's birthday and I was so pleased when I saw the previews advertised and realised we could go on that day. Can't wait!

Myself and DH are both big Harry potter fans and can't wait too see the new one:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

... looking forward to reading your reviews :) ! My younger son asked me if I thought there'd be any seats left tomorrow (BHMon) - I really doubt it!!

I can't wait to see it, and I can't sort out a babysitter, argggggh.

Looks like it might be wednesday. My Dh thinks i'm mad, I spend all the time I'm not on this website on the HP ones....

Just got back from DLP and there was a huge huge hanging ad sign for POA on the side of the cinema that made me jump for joy every time I saw it, even though I was at DLP!!!!!

Saw it on Saturday and enjoyed it much more than I was expecting. Unlike the first two films (which I thought were a little slow) this one really moves along at a cracking pace (although don't expect every little detail from the book - there just isn't the time). The three main leads have matured into their roles very nicely and put in a much better performance this time tound. Special effects are much improved as well.

I saw the film with a fairly timid 8 year old . The only time she was scared and had to look away was Professor Lupin's transformation. She wasn't too bothered by the Dementors.

Regards

Rob

Todays the day :)

Glad it was good Rob - looking forward to seeing the Dementors.

Hi there

I've just got back from seeing the 1pm performance. What a brilliant film. The kids are starting to grow up and their acting has greatly improved. The special effects were very good too, especially the dementors, Aunt Marge being blown up, Prof. Snape being turned into Nevilles grandmother and Prof. Lupin turning into a werewolf. The views of Scotland were breathtaking as there was lots of scenes with mountains and rivers. There were a lot of funny one-liners too.

Can't wait to see it again, unfortunately as I've read the books serveral times each, I did notice the amount of changes that they make, but obviously they can't put everything into the film. It would be nice to see the film without knowing what is going to happen. But I LOVE the books and can't wait for the next one.

Final Verdict - Its brilliant and well worth seeing even if your not a Harry Potter fan.

P.S. Only downside, not enough Prof. Snape or Sirius Black

Just got back from the 3pm showing :D

I think everyone had the same idea here today (rainy BH monday) as there was no parking in the cinema complex and we had to divert into a little back street in order to make it into the show in time in the end

The film was excellent like mandymouse I always find myself sitting through Harry Potter films noticing the bits that have been chopped from the books. Take that away and the film is excellent, good special effect, funny one liners and a scintilating plot.

It was also interesting to see how the cast have grown up since the last film, couldn't help noticing how gangly they have all become

I recommend people go and see it, it's been the best of the three films so far IMHO.

Alan.

I was supposed to see it at 11.30am today but I managed to tear a contact lense and got half of it stuck in my eye when I was getting ready to leave. So instead of going to the cinema I spent my time in the optician in Asda (my own optician was closed).
