What is the latest on the building of Hogwarts at Universal? Is it still schduled for 2009?

Last I read on screamscape.com was late 2009/early 2010. I could not see any signs of construction at IOA last week, so I guess it is still in the planning stages.

Still hoping they don't pillage too much of Lost Continent, but I realize that horse has been kicked to death on this board. I guess no one knows of any further developments on that issue?

Most of Lost Continent will become Potterville. From what I hear, only Poseidon and Mythos will be left.

The time frame is 2009 - 2010 and my guess is that the really good stuff won't be open until later.

I'm revising my Universal guide for 2008 now and for the (short) preview section on the Wizarding World of Harry P, I used the headline "Harry Potter and the Interminable Wait."

That's what we've heard too. They are supposed to be shortening the queue so they can make way for the HP stuff.

Whew! I hope nothing changes on DD. Didn't they just make some changes to the queue line? I say take Posideon and leave DD alone.

from what i read originally about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, they were thinking on making it in an area between Lost continent and Dr Seuss. They mentioned taking a part of Lost Continent for it, but on that side you have Poseidon and Sinbad, so I believe DD will be left alone. (it better be left alone, it is one of the best rides in Orlando!!!)
