Harry Potter restaurants?

I’m taking a friend to Universal January 17th and 18th. She’s a huge Harry Potter fan and wants to do all the Potter stuff. We’re staying at Royal Pacific so will have Express Pass for the rides and we’ll do Hagrids first thing in the morning since it doesn’t have express pass. But the restaurants don’t take reservations, right? So we’ll just show up and wait. Any idea what the wait would be for lunch around 1 or 2? Is one of the restaurants better than the other?

Probably less of a wait if you do an early lunch. The restaurants serve difference stuff. You could do a meal at one and a snack at the other.

Thanks! Good idea to check out both that way. By early lunch, is 11ish early enough for a not too long wait?

Thanks everyone! I’m not much of a breakfast person and often just have a granola bar so an early lunch should work well.
