Harry Potter Moviegoers

I went today at 11:30am. Luckily I'd sprung for the reserved seating, because I was running a bit late. It was not crowded in the reserved seating balcony, but I was fine with that! Leather seats, and nobody's head in front of the screen (true stadium seating!)

Great movie. I was a little surprised at how short it was (comparatively), but it was a good pace, and covered all the essentials. I like how they handled a few of the more verbose/exposition heavy sections. A most excellent adaptation. I think I like Part 1 a little bit better than Part 2, but I think the 2 of them together are the best of the movies.

I ended up sitting through it a second time (the 2:15 show was not sold out in the balcony, either). Caught a few things I'd missed the first time around. Good stuff!

I saw it this morning at 9am. Now I'm ready to go back and see it again!

Saw it last night. Eager to pick up the book and compare the two. Just had a question about a missing character, but don't want to spoil it for anyone. I thought it was excellent, probably the best of the entire series. Well paced, just the right amount of humor. Can't wait to see it again!

Saw it again at a "regular" showing... I have to say the 3d did add a lot to the film.... Not something you outright notice while watching in 3d but comparing the 3d showing looked much better. Just my 2 cents.....

I am currently looking for a psychiatrist to help me with my Harry Potter withdrawal. I cried through most of the movie, and lots of my friends enjoyed making fun of my love and devotion to this franchise. (They already have a field day with my Disney addiction!!)

I thought the movie was absolutely brilliant. I'm usually bitter about deviations from the book, but I thought all of them were perfectly acceptable and made for a GREAT movie. (I started to panic about Neville's moment when I thought they might give it to someone else:eek: - thankfully, they didn't!)

I'm emotionally exhausted from the build up and viewing of this movie. I think for therapy.... I'll go see it again!

I  Harry Potter!

I was worried about the same thing! I think they did it on purpose to fray our nerves!!!!! I was going to be really pissed about that one!

Best of all, Kevin can go see it because there is a "human" in it.

Just back from seeing it with my family in IMAX 3-D! This is up there with Return of the King in my book! I cried 3 times and once of them was when the movie was over and we got up to leave! I am so sad that it's all over!

I asked the kids when we could see it again! DD6 yelled "Best Movie Ever" which made the group around us laugh as we were walking out! Several of us were ready to walk right back in to see it again! One of the theaters employees looked at me and asked how I like the show and I said, I wanted to see it again!

Maybe we can go see a regular screening next weekend! I just really need to see it again!

Only complaint is that it wasn't long enough! Hoping that when it comes out on DVD that it is a super expanded version!

Long Live Harry Potter!

Who's going tonight? Expectations? Thoughts? Reviews?

I did the Harry Potter movie marathon that was being shown at select theaters around the country - 2 movies a night, over 4 nights, ending with Part 1 & 2 at midnight for the last night.

I have never seen HP in the movies at all - just on ABC Family when it aired on TV. And it ended with Order of the Phoenix, so I never saw Half-Brood Prince or Part 1 at all.

A friend of mine, bought me a ticket and told me I had to go.

Let me tell ya, it was a journey! :wizard: and I enjoyed myself and the movies alot. Part 2 smacked me sideways!!!
