Harry Potter Lands at night

I will be at the parks Oct 9-14th. When I visited last May the parks closed early and I missed the one night it closes late because my kids were sick (Grad Bash and other events). I really would like a chance to see the Harry Potter lands at night time. I will do 1 HHN but for those that have traveled during this time last year do you think there will be a chance I can experience the park at dark or will it still be light out? I suppose if I do HHN I can get Diagon Alley in but I would also love to see Hogsmead with all the lights.

No Hhn on Monday and Tuesday nights for your stay
That would be a time you can see potterville during your stay

Potter is open during Hhn so you can ride gringotts then

I'll be there the same dates you will be

Thanks Mac, maybe we'll see you around! Do you think with IOA closing at around 8:00 it will be dark enough to see hogwarts and Hogsmeads on the non HHN days?

last 5 years i have been in the parks from oct 1 to the 14 and up to the 17 of oct.

on non hhn nights, the cinema display on the lake started about close to 7:30 at the middle of the month.
they want it dark outside before they show the movies on the screen

weren't as many shows last year and don't know if it will be the same this october.



the sun will set between 6:56 - 7:02 during your time period.

you will be able to see pottersville with all their lights on during your stay.

i would say the last hour of your park time is when lights will be on with the sun setting by 7:00 pm


if you want to see pottersville while it is still light, 6:00 would work fine.
