Yes, you can upgrade. Just go to guest services before you leave for the day and they will upgrade your one day ticket to whatever you want.

The only tickets you can't upgrade are complimentary tickets and 3 park tickets.

We just upgraded and it is, like Bluer said, just the difference in the price of what you paid and what you would have paid for the two day.

Hope I was helpful! Universal just gets better and better each time you go. Make sure you take the time to enjoy all the little things. So many times, people are hopping over from WDW for a day and just try to rush from ride to ride without taking the time to enjoy the shows and the street performances and the food. Their experience just doesn't match up to someone who takes the time to explore everything Universal has to offer!
