The kids are doing interviews during commercial breaks. They've grown so much. It's really fun seeing them.

I know. My kids are saying Rupert looks so different!

have you noticed all the extra footage in the movie???

I thought the extra footage thing was just me...and the kids do look so grown up more so when you are watching the first movie and then see them.

This is so cool. The kids are so much older. Are they the actual age of their characters? They look so much older then 15yo.

You have to go to the Quicktime website and watch the trailer for the new movie! ( If you have a good connection make sure and choose Hagrid sized!) It is one of the BEST trailers I have ever seen I got goose bumps!!! I cannot wait for June 4th!! I am SOOO SOO SOO excited. Book three has always been my favorite.

I haven't noticed the extra footage .. but I am doing homeowork while watching so that may be why.

I tivo'd this (all 4 horus of it) and was flipping between it and Survivor last night.

I noticed the extra footage in the first hour that i watched - very cool...

also managed to catch an in-dept behind the scenes of POA during the 10pm hour. This moving is going to freakin' ROCK!!!

I still can't believe how old they got though! Rupert Grint looks 19 now! And Emma is just turning into a beautiful little heartbreaker.

Can't wait until next weekend to watch ALL of what i Tivo'd last night - all 4 hours of it...

Rupert Grint is nearly 16. Emma Watson is 14. Daniel Ratcliffe is nearly 15.

wow

ok - clueless here - have they started fliming GOF yet?
do you think these 3 will make it to OOTP?

i'm kinda thinking they won't...i think it'll be VERY hard to replace these actors.

They JUST started filming. The movie will be out next November 18th.

I hope they all sign on to do OOTP...sure would be hard to watch others in the roles. Age wise, they will pretty close to on target. If 20-somethings can play teenagers in movies, which has happened, then these guys should be able to pull it off. I sure hope so anyway!

Loved the show...all 4 hours of it...by the way. It was neat to see the extra parts also.

From the Internet Movie Database:
Director Chris Columbus added 20 minutes of deleted scenes to the movie for its 9 May 2004 ABC airing, which is its broadcast debut.

Drat. I didn't realize that this was the case or I would have recorded the program. I would have needed a second VCR since I was also recording the Survivor finale. I smell a special edition DVD.

We did manage to catch a few of the interview segments by switching to ABC during commercials on Survivor.

You know - I didn't even noticed if it was being 'advertised' that it had extra scenes.

I don't own the first movie on DVD - but does anyone know if these scenes were most likely from the 'deleted scenes' on the DVD? (I need to buy this movie soon on DVD! heheh)

Yes, they were the deleted scenes from the DVD, but I must admit, it was great to see them in the context of the film where they should have been originally positioned.
