Harry Potter event weekend

Hi all,

Has anyone been to HP Experience weekend? Do we need to get the special tickets or is it easy enough to get in with just general tickets. My daughter and I are HUGE HP fans so we definitely want to do the Q&A.

How much time will we devote to this versus being able to tour the rest of the parks. We would stay on site so we will have express passes and early entry.

If you want to do the Event's events, I would get the package and get that easier entry to the events.

If you are just going at that time and don't need to do events, don't bother with that.

From what I recall from the one this year, there was maybe one thing that wasn't possible for the normal people to do. Everything else could be done by normal people, you just had to wait in line. Waiting in line takes time away from doing other park things. So you would have to carefully prioritize.

We planned our trip then the Event was announced. We decided to not partake in it, as just doing park stuff was good enough.

At the one this year they had *warm* butterbeer, but only in the mornings. We found out too late for it to be easy for us to get it.


And no matter what, keep your eyes open and know what actors are going to be there.
