Been disconnected to the DIS lately, but just saw the big party at HP is scheduled for Nov 11-13th! That's the Friday we were planning to go and we are only in town for the weekend. How bad do you think the crowds are going to be??? I guess the saving grace is that folks on the package have autograph sessions to attend....:rolleyes1

I have never been to Universal so I thought I would take my daughter and grandson for, you guessed it the week-end of Nov 12th. I am also worried about the crowds, but hopefully all the special events will keep people busy.
Let's hope for the best.

I'm going for the celebration. As far as the events go, there is not that many. Each day there are 3 Q&A/autograph sessions you can pick from to attend(you only get one of each on the premiere package, and only a Q&A on the celebration package). The sessions are 45 minutes long. So I don't know how much that will keep people occupied. Plus none of the sessions take place during early entry so that will be slightly more crowded I'd assume.

Well, there's nothing I can do about. Airfare booked, room paid for, etc... so just going to have to deal.

I'm going for the Celebration also...and from what I read all the activities(QandA, autographs, and Gala) are happening in the Wizarding World.

I really dont think it will be that insane. They are keeping the packages limited in numbers sold. Plus, think a little positive, it might be more crowded than planned yes, but there is a good chance you might see the actors around the park. That might add to the experience some.

We won't be in Orlando during those dates, but just out of curiosity, who is going to be signing autographs?

The cast list hasn't come out yet but it will be actors ect from the Harry Potter movies. The only one I know for sure won't be there is Dan Radcliffe as he is on Broadway currently and has shows that weekend.

Radcliffe would have been at the top of my wish list, right there with J K Rowling herself. But even though those two are not possible, there are still at least 10 different actors my wife and I would be thrilled to meet.

If you can get to NYC before Jan 1st you can catch Dan in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Amazing show and afterwards Dan will come out and sign autographs at the stage door. I've met him a few times through various Potter things as well as at the stage doors of Equus and How to Succeed, he's a real sweetheart and lovely to talk to.

We've had reservations for that weekend for quite a while. Anybody know when they plan to release individual tickets to the Potter events?

I dunno. I am assuming any ticket to UO will get you into the WWoHP but the special events are only for the premiere tickets and celebratory tickets. I dunno what they will be selling individually though. It will be my guess that it will be after end of Oct though.
