I think I'm going to go crazy waiting for book 5! Luckily, the 2nd movie is due out in October!

Unfortunatly, now that I've decided that Dobby reminds me of Yoda, I cant break the mental connection

And am I the only one who adores Snape?

I have heard all sorts of dates for the fifth book, but I am going to place my bet on sometime next year between late spring and late fall. I have signed up on the Barnes & Noble site to be notified by e-mail me when the fifth book is available for pre-sale. Go to www.bn.com, then go to the children's section and the yellow sign up box will be on the right.

I have all four books several times and I enjoy getting other people to read them. I recently turned one of my co-workers into a total addict after I started reading them out loud to him. Daniel read all four shortly after we started dating. I remember telling somebody that Daniel had started reading the books and they responded with "Of course, he is dating you!" Haha

WDW Poly Princess, I do not adore Snape, but I think he is a good guy who just does not get along with Harry. Unfortunately, Snape will likely be in lots of trouble in the fifth book. We will just have to wait and see.

If you are talking Snape in the movie, I was embarassed to admit it until you brought it up but YES, something about him is very appealing!!! Not so much his character as his looks. I can't quite figure out what it is! Maybe it's something about the way his lip curls...

I too can't wait for book #5. Saw the previews of the next movie last night. It looks awesome!

Actually, Draco Malfoy is one of my favorite Characters in the book. (Yes, I am one of those twisted people who wears a "Slythern" t-shirt Hehehehe!)

The reason I love Draco is that he is such a product of his enviornment. He is totally trying to live up to his Father's badness, but I don't believe that he is really such a bad kid. I fully expect him to turn on his Father toward the end of the books, and more than likely will end up helping Harry and the Scooby Gang.

I know that Rowling seems to be setting it up for Ron and Hermione to end up together, but there is a part of me that would LOVE to see Hermione and Draco end up together. Can you imagine Draco's reaction to the realization that he is interested in Dating a Mudblood?

There are two reasons (in my opinion) why Snape is a character that people like. First of all, it is obvious (so far!) that he is a good guy, no matter how bad he is. You have to wonder why he is the way he is. Secondly, when it comes to the Movie Snape, I have two words......Alan Rickman. When I read the first book, the picture in my head of Snape was Alan Rickman. I was so thrilled when he was chosen to play Snape! He is a great actor and serious Eye Candy! If you are unsure about that, just see "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves." He is wonderful!

Ok, here's the deal...

Book outlines written, but not the story itself. Very true -- it happens often with most known writers. But the book will come out <i>probably</i> next summer. If you think back about what Rowling has done the past 12-18 months: publicity for movie #1, getting MARRIED, prepping for #5, going thru the edits of the book, etc., These things take TIME, & each of those points (plus whatever else is on her plate) requires her time! Trust me, when the news hits that book 5 will come out on such-&-such-date, <u>the whole world will know</u>, so just be patient - it will come.

I was a bit of a Snape fan before I saw the movie, but I think that Alan Rickman got me hooked for good ;-)
