That is so hard because while both thrill rides they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!

Gringotts might have the edge due to the queue alone, but it is a changing "coaster" ride that is so well done. ToT is a fear factor kind of ride that once you pass into the elevator shaft there is no more theme or story, just falling.

Love them both, both are #mustdos.

2 very different rides with 2 very different types of enjoyment. ToT is great fun but is very quick. Gringotts is a fast paced 3D story coaster with speed and thrills. Both are fantastic fun but Universal win on this one.

Both are great rides and either one is worthy of a win in this poll really. AS others said they are very different rides so it's hard to truly compare. I love them both for different reasons.
ToT is great thrill, love the atmosphere of it. The Twilight Zone pre-show is fun, and the queue through the gardens with the hotel looming, and the lobby/library space is great.
Gringott's has the amazing queue (especially the bank lobby), fun coaster/dark ride expereince with lots of fun elements like the tilt track and launch. I do feel it tells a more complete story and feels more immersive than the elevator drop tower experience. So I do give a slight edge to Gringotts but would hate to actually have to choose between them in real life.

Split vote here. ToT is one of the best themed rides in Disney, and one of my son’s and husband’s all time favorites. I agree it’s greatly themed, but I do not ride it. I don’t like dropping in the dark at all! So I prefer Gringotts

Yes, I know they are completely different types of rides, but I thought to compare them as it would be a close match, as both are great themed thrill (although Gringotts is barely thrilling at all lmao) rides. I was interested to see what was better. You guys nailed the comparison tho.

Well Gringotts and most simulator rides give me motion sickness. I had motion sickness issues on Gringotts so it wasn't fun for me at all and I closed my eyes for a bunch of it and was so happy when the ride was over. Universal and IOA with so many simulator rides are not great parks for me. Sure the queue was mildly entertaining, but even the queue IMHO was not nearly as good as Tower of Terror.

I love drop rides and the Tower of Terror theming. Easy for me to pick that one over Gringotts as my preference - no questions asked.

Both are really good both totally different types of rides.
If I had to vote it would be Gringotts as it has more features than ToT.

Agree ToT has an amazing queue. It doesn't have all the details from movies and stuff like Gringotts, but you do feel fully immersed in the story/atmosphere once you enter the brick walls to the gardens, and the lobby and library look great. Honestly if they changed the Fifth Dimension floor into an actual scene of some type to progress the story more and give better theming elements, my vote might sway to ToT.
