Hi everyone! Our next trip to WDW isn't until next year, but we will be heading to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for March Break this year instead - not the same magic as Disney of course, but it will mean a week away from boots and coats.

We will be driving down and are looking for recommendations for a motel/hotel in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area for our one-night stopover. Does anyone have any specific places they would recommend - or think we should avoid?:)

Thanks very much in advance!

Mousegirl, I don't know exit numbers specifically but there are plenty of them in the Harrisburg area that have chain hotels very close to the highway.

Regards
John

Hey MG!

We stayed in Hershey, PA last March - its about 15-20 minutes north of Harrisburg on I81. Here's a link to the hotel we bid on through Priceline (Comfort Inn - 2 star rating):

Incidentally, it looks like 2 and 3 star hotels are going for around $30-35/night in Hershey/Harrisburg right now. You might want to check the www.biddingfortravel.com website to see the hotels that are available through Priceline, and how much they're going for currently.

Have a great trip!:) :) :)

Thank you both very much for your suggestions - I'll check out the biddingfortravel website and see what hotels they list.
