Harmony Barbershop to $17 for adults and $14 for children.

Is it worth it ?
Would a 14 year old DS or 11 year old DD enjoy it ?
Anything special ?

Do they trim girls hair ?

Give anything out to kids ?

By the way - where is it located on in MK ? Main Street I assume - but next to what ?

Your kids will love it. I had older teenagers when they went and had a blast. It is next to the fire station and on the other side is the Emporium as you enter MK. Look to the left.

Son had the gel in his hair along with the sprinkles. My daughter got the gel on her bangs. They both loved their pictures with the cape and big scissors.

I think it is definitely worth it! My little DS has his hair cut there last year and this year (he's 5). Michael cut it both times, and spiked his hair with green gel and put green glitter it in this year. He also put a green Mickey on the back of his head! It was so cute. Last year he also put Mickey confetti (pixie dust!) in his hair as well, but this year, little DS didn't want the confetti.

My DH even had his hair cut, complete with green spikes and glitter. And, if you knew my DH, you would never had believed he would do it. It all depends on how "cool" your 14-year old thinks it is.

While we were there this year, Billie (the lady who was there that day) cut and fixed a teenage girl's hair -- it was too cute! she put some of it up and curled it around with a bow, candy cane and pixie dust. I wanted to have mine do too!

The barber shop is on the left side of town square as you walk into MK after you go under the railroad station right next to the "fire station." It is very small, but if you ask a CM, they should be able to direct you to it.

It is one of those out of the way palces to go. We have done it once and it created a great memory. DH and 6 son got cuts with the son getting the full treatment with gel and the pixie dust. Not only was it fun to have done but we watched several others in front of us get these done. We saw them later in the day with people pointing and talking about their hair.

I would definitly try it at least once. Even though they only have two chairs we only had to wait 10 min. Not many people stop in.

Have fun!!!!

My 2 kids loved as you can see from the pic in my signature...Yes there were girls getting there hair cut while we were there...They gave my kids stickers afterwards...but I think the attention they got from CM's, us and other people in general made enjoyable for them...

DD had her first haircut there in Dec., she was 6. :D While planning the trip, I had tried to convince her to have her hair cut there, but she refused because she liked being the only one she knew that had never had a hair cut. I had my hair cut there anyway, and when she saw what Billie was doing to another girl, DD decided to have hers cut too. She ended up having about 4 inches cut off to make it even, it had sort of tapered to a point before. DD loved what Billie did, and she had many compliments all day.

ETA: I thought I knew how to post pictures, but for some reason it says they're temporarily unavailable. Billie pulled her front hair back into a ponytail, with a candy cane in it. She teased the poytail, added green gel and lots of mickey head glitter. On the side she painted a green mickey head & covered it with mickey head glitter. It was adorable,

You will love it!!!!! We got our 3 DSs hair cut their in Ocotber it was great...well worth the money and memories. They are getting their hair cut again this trip.
