Harmony Barber shop question

My boys have appointments at harmony barber shop at 9:00 (they open at 9:00 I guess as she said it was the first appointment) just to get their hair styled (spiked with colored gel and pixie dust) no hair cuts. We will be there earlier as my daughter has a BBB appointment at 8:20. Has anyone had a 9:00 appointment at the barber shop and had their appointment start earlier. It says to be there by 8:45a. I am hoping they will maybe start them at 8:45 so we can still be heading towards the castle around 9:00 or shortly there after.

Anyone have experiences to share?

FYI, the barber shop no longer offers any gel -- just a style and pixie dust.

Could you get your boys the nights package at BBB? then you won't have to leave the castle.

I dont think they even start until 9am. Most people are not allowed in the park until 9. (unless this is an EMH day)

you should leave at least an hour for BBB
or maybe I am not understanding what you are asking

If you have reservations prior to park opening, you are allowed in earlier...just need your reservation numbers.

I had no idea that they didn't do the gel!?!? When did this change? When I called to make the appointment specifically for the colored gel and pixie dust they never told me!!

Anyone been there recently to confirm?

. . . could not get in early, as the walk was so short
. . . not, like walking to CP or CRT

. . . as I remember, early last year
. . . the folks at BBB thought it infringed upon THEIR hairdos (and tips)
. . . why pay BBB huge prices when you can get gel at the barber ???
. . . so, the barber shop just does cuts and pixie dust

Thanks looks like I will be calling BBB first thing tomorrow morning to see if there is any chance in the world they can get my boys in...of course the main thing they wanted!!! Going in June!!

I just wanted to add that they do really good haircuts. If the experience is important, then go for a haircut + style/pixie dust. If they want crazy hair (gel/etc.), then just do that in the morning before you head out for BBB...that way you are also not wasting precious early morning low-wait time getting your hair done.

May not be that big of a deal to you,however it's a huge deal to a child!and I'd be pretty upset if thats what I'd booked and I'd been told wrong.
