Hello! Somehow I was able to get a 7:35pm ADR at RnC on a night Harmonius is at 9. Assuming we slow play our dinner and are wrapping up around the time Harmonius starts, will they let us linger out onto the balcony to watch it? Assuming of course we don't get in the way of people who bought the dining package.

Not sure you are familiar with layout ...

We have done package twice in last 5 months. Both times the package people took up all of the covered patio tables facing the water and the uncovered patio below was reserved (with signs) for any of package folks who want to move down there. Last trip it was about 50/50 who moved. Staff then continued to work the event guests on both levels.

There is barely room for staff to work that area and I seriously doubt they will allow anyone to enter that area that isn't on the package. And I mean, you didn't pay to watch from there so I wouldn't expect that perk. The restaurant does have a small viewing area. You exit the restaurant to the booths where you check in and walk down the sidewalk to the water. The area is usually roped off to separate it from the garden seating (that anyone can use).

We have eaten twice in last year prior to show on regular ADR, we left and found a spot nearby. When you have a reservation that close to package check in you won't be seated in the package area. Once we were sat inside, and once outside in the area not next to the water.

If I really wanted to see the show, I wouldn't risk slowing my meal in hopes of sliding into the package area. I'd eat and then get outside to find a decent spot.

Yes it is for regular dinner guests ~ but it's not large. Arrive a bit early for your ADR, you might get seated early then be ready to order immediately and that will give you a buffer of time to at least see if there is room before you look elsewhere.

This is the area behind the rope (restaurant is to the right, public garden to the left). I just noticed I caught the boat that crossed the lagoon in it but that big dark hump thing behind it is the Harmonious floats.
