Hardest place to get in?

What restaurant do you consider one of the harder ones to get in? We leave for Disney in about a week and last night I called and was able to make a Crystal Palace Reservation for dinner, I think I just got lucky.

My top 3 places we like and seem to be difficult are Chef Mickey's (we do one breakfast and one dinner), CRT (breakfast), and LeCellier. We always get in but I am on the phone at exactly 7 am on our open day.

Congrats on your ADR. Have a great trip...

:thumbsup2 My top 3 for hard-to get ADRs, too!

I think it's hardest to get in Le Cellier (dinner especially!) and Ohana.

On our recent trip to Ohana, the waitress told us that its the busiest TS restaurant in WDW.

From what I hear CRT is also hard to get into, but we've never tried.

Ohana has been a really difficult one for me to get at a time earlier than 9PM, but then again I don't know that I am going to Disney until about 2-3 months before we leave.

Yak and Yeti was really hard to get into as well. However, I finally got in for a lunch today for my trip starting Sunday :cool1: .

I haven't had a problem getting lunch or dinner at the castle, but I have never tried breakfast.

All Character meals...Ecspecially Cinderellas. Then Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Bomas always seem tough!

Dinner at Le Cellier. I always get it when I call though but that is because I call on my day I'm supposed to at 7 AM!

Dinner at Le Cellier for me, called at 7:15 AM and couldn't get it.

My DBF and I were in Disney about 3 weeks ago. We went down there with reservations at Crystal Palace, Biergarten and Ohana. While we were there we were able to get reservations the remaining nights at our first choice restaurants (Spoodles, Chef De France, Raglan Road and Tony's) by calling either the day before or the day of. We are pretty flexible with restaurants, but it really was not hard to get good times at places we wanted to eat at!! We have done this before and have had good luck in previous trips. It is always worth a shot to call while you are down there if you didn't get the ADR you wanted, you may be surprised the type of availability you can find.

Good luck with your ADR's and have a great time!!

I agree about being down there and openings coming up. We cancelled a Ohana and Crystal Palace (just because we were somewhere else that night) but were able to get Spoodles and Flying Fish easily.

OP: You should post a poll on this thread, that would be cool to see it in a "nutshell". Just a suggestion! Good thread too!

I got every where I wanted including LeCellier and multiple incantations of an ADR for Chef Mickey's but I called at 90 for the first and wasn't able to get it until 7 days out. Plus I've gotten everywhere else I wanted even calling after 90 days to rearrange things. The biggest trick I think though is not just getting in but getting the time you want. I have a few ADRs where I'm not thrilled with my times, but I took them anyway.

Seems to be LeCellier, although we stopped dining there about 5 years ago. The food just didn't seem to be as good IMO compared to what it was years ago. Still...that always winds up being the coveted ADR for most folks. CRT for breakfast is another hard to get one. We did it once and we're good for the long haul now. I've never had an issue getting in at CM or CP and getting the time I want. Maybe we are just lucky in that regard.

Definitely Le Cellier for us, we've tried our last 4 trips (admitedly I don't call very often to see if there has been an opening) luckily we managed to get in for our May trip with our first choice of day and time, (think it was because of the 90 + 10 day rule).

The other hard to get is Fantasmic dinner packages, especially with limited days they are now doing fantasmic.

Since I have no interest in CM or CRT, I can vouch for LeCellier being almost impossible. We've only been able to get in once in the last 5 trips and we had to settle for lunch.

Another one that goes pretty quickly is Illuminations times at the Rose & Crown.... though not impossible.

duuuude ... le cellier is freakin impossible! im getting frusterated!! this trip i am calling asap! to get a ressie there!

I'm having a hard time getting in at Tusker House for Donalds Safari Breakfast and also the Garden Grill. Granted this was a spur of the moment trip (booked last Friday night to leave this coming Sunday) but the ones I figured would be hard to get (1900 Park Fare for Breakfast and Akershus for lunch) were actually very easy. But I can't get Donalds breakfast or Dinner at the Garden Grill. I have called several times a day all week with no luck!
