Hardest place to get in?

With the economy being the way it is there are fewer travellers and fewer TS diners...people may opt for more CS.

I was able to get an 8:05 am CP breakfast with 2 days notice, 1900 PF dinner with 2 weeks notice etc....

We are leaving in 5 days and the only ressie I have not been able to switch my time for is CM breakfast, the others (Tonys, Wave, Sci Fi, Kona, GFC and San Angel Inn) I have been able to tweak the times.

The consensus seems to be LeCellier, CM and CRT.

I called...even after my 180 days (after 90 days too) and was still able to get what I wanted when I wanted.

Now I want to change LeCellier but it's been jam packed for over a month. But I booked my ADR around 60 days and had no problems getting what I wanted for there.

Hmm, you know it's kinda funny because up until about 3 or so years ago my family and I never made reservations prior to actually getting to FLA.

I'd say 99% of the time we'd get the place and general time we wanted with no problems then about 3 years ago we did that and it seemed like everything was booked up and that's when we started to make arrangements prior go leaving.

However, I'd have to say the most difficult reservation we've ever had to make was for Cinderella's Royal Table for Breakfast at the Magic Kingdom. If reservations opened up at 7:00AM my father and I were on the phone at 6:55AM to try to beat people. Since there is such limited seating and it's SOOOO popular it took us I think 4 days of doing that before we FINALLY got a reservation.

After the second day of calling like that it wasn't about the meal anymore ... it was a challenge ... a test of our Disney stamina, if you will!

And honestly, when we finally DID get our reservation for CRT we went there for breakfast and were a little let down ... we'd rather a breakfast at either Crystal Palace or Cape May Cafe. But that's just us!!!

The other hard to get is Fantasmic dinner packages, especially with limited days they are now doing fantasmic.

Since I have no interest in CM or CRT, I can vouch for LeCellier being almost impossible. We've only been able to get in once in the last 5 trips and we had to settle for lunch.

Another one that goes pretty quickly is Illuminations times at the Rose & Crown.... though not impossible.

I guess I've been really lucky, but then again I always call at exactly 7:00 am on my first available day and do the 90+10 (used to be 180+10). I've gotten Le Cellier every trip and get Rose & Crown around 7:30pm every time I try. Now, I don't always get a patio table, but have only not been able to once out of five requests. In fact, I have a Rose & Crown ADR for two in May, that I may not even keep. It's for 7:30pm. 'Ohana and the Fantasmic pkgs give me more trouble than Le Cellier and they're definitely harder to get than Rose & Crown.

1. Le Celiier by far and they usually seat you late if you don't have an early time!
2. Chef Mickey's Breakfast unless you want 7am
3. Any princess breakfast, especially CRT

Le Cellier by far for us. We weren't able to get it any time during the week on our last trip. Luckily for our trip in May this year I managed to snag an early dinner time there though With our 10 month old, that is wonderful! I got absolutely everything we wanted this time for our entire party, including a late CG for the fireworks, O'hana dinner at 5:30, and CRT breakfast at 10:25 which is brilliant cause we can use it like brunch! I did call at exactly my 90 day mark and got through at exactly 7am which may have been all the difference. I was shocked though on CRT, but maybe people are confused that it can still be booked 180 days out so hence why I was able to still get in.

California Grill around fireworks or castle lighting time. That's the only one we've had issue with that we still consistently go to. One bad experience at Le Cellier (and it was pretty bad) pretty much put us off for good, and we usually eat breakfast in our room before heading.

Another nod for Le Cellier, although we did have difficulty with Boma last time too. We have often gotten ressies day of or day before. The biggest problem seems to be people making ressies and bailing on them. Hopefully they will get a system in where people can only make one ressie per meal (i.e. no squatting on CM and Cape May just because you don't know which one you will want that day!) or perhaps a nominal no-cancellation fee - $5 or $10 a meal would do the trick. V&As and CG are already doing that - the others may need to follow suit.
