Hard to book at VGC at 11 months?

Since we have a lot of pts at Disney World, thinking of selling VGF and picking up VGC. Will be able to get reservations a 11 months at Grande Californian ?

VGC is very small. It depends on room type and season, but generally speaking it's a resort requiring home resort booking, yes.

In tracking the 11 month and 7 month windows, I have not seen any date in the year where VGC was a problem if you booked exactly 11 months out from date of arrival.

The only resorts and rooms that I have seen where that issue may exist (in varying degrees and times of year) are: Aulani standard view GV, OKW GV in the near Hospitality House booking category, BLT standard view, AKV club level and value rooms, BWV GV and standard and boardwalk view studios/2BRs, and VGF studios.

Never experienced a problem and was a Founding member there. There are only 2 GVs so if you wanted one of those you'd want to book right away but That likely won't be an issue either. The marathon weekends and the CP weekend in Dec are probably the times that book up quickest but even that isn't right at the opening window.

I'm a BWV owner and am 4 for 4 at VGC at 7 months:

5/2011 (first week) - studio
9/2012 (last week) - studio
8/2013 (Sun to Wed night before D23) - 1 bedroom
8/2015 (Sun to Wed night before D23) - 1 bedroom

I'm a WL owner. Live in California. Never had a problem at 7 month window. Probably gone at least 7 times, most of them the week before Christmas and close to Easter (whenever my daughter is out of school). And once for Halloween.
