If you're really into the sounds and memorabilia of the 60s, 70s and 80s, you could spend a good 2 hours there. I think it is extremely well done, but then there is a lot of nostalgia involved with that musical period for me. There is a ton of one-off musical museum-pieces to look over, while their 'immersion' tour is a lot of fun. The overall musical chronicle is a bit uneven, IMHO, but fans of people like Hendrix, the Punk era, Elvis and so on should get a lot out of it. Take your time to talk to as many of the tour guides as possible as they all have a different take on different pieces in the collection and have a lot of knowledge of the musicians and their history. There is an OK cafe and the usual gift shop which helps to round out the time.
