I only took this one shot of use eating in the CS restaurant.
It was standard theme park food, nothing that stood out worth mentioning. Me and DD had a slice of Lasagna at $9.50 A SLICE
and my DW & DS each had a personal cheese pizza at $7.50 each
Then we split two orders of fries and two waters. Grand total $51.00
After lunch we finished up the British Invasion with a show.
This show "Roadies Stunt Show" is based on a road crew behind the scenes getting the stage ready for the band before a concert. A lonely janitor wants to be a roadie and though the show he causes more trouble that help. End the end he wins the respect of the other crew and becomes a roadie. This show was 25 minutes long and we all enjoyed every minute and it also had some pyro at the end!
This is where we also met the Bear Metal Family
A family of rockin bears that aren't country!
Another interesting note is the bus that sits in front of the waiting area of this show. This bus is the Hard Rock Café's biggest donated piece of music memorabilia, the actual Magical Mystery Tour bus.
Born In the U.S.A.
This themed area is most noted for the 10,000 seat amphitheater where live acts play throughout the week as they roll into town.
In this area you will also find a kids/adult play area complete with rock wall.
which I myself climbed twice
and a cool semi water ride called "Slippery When Wet"
This ride holds four people, 2 facing forward and 2 faceing the rear of the car. This is a ride where the cars hang under the coaster tracks. You are loaded up and then raised straight up to a height of about 75 feet. You are then sent rolling down the rails as water squirts up at you as well as people below being able to sqirt you with a fixed mounted water gun. The ride was quick and we didn't really get that wet, but it was fun none the less.
There is also a CS diner style restaurant in the area but we didn't venture over to it.
As we were heading out of this area we saw a BMX bike show going on.
This was cool to watch and lasted about 20 minutes.
With that, we headed to our last themed area: Cool Counrty......
