Hard Rock Live question

I'm debating letting my kids go to a concert at the Hard Rock Live next month. Do these normally sell out, or would it be a safe bet that they can get tickets the day of the concert? The concert is Reel Big Fish & Supervillains, which isn't really my taste and brings up my second question. Can a couple of 14 year olds watch this concert while we roam around CityWalk? I have no problem letting these boys roam the parks on their own, but wasn't sure if an adult would have to stand thru the concert with them for them to get in.

Thanks
Mark

Reel Big Fish is a ska band... the last time I went by the Hard Rock during a performance that was ska-related, there was a ton of people trying to get in... also, with that kind of crowd, (me personally), I wouldn't let let two 14 year olds in there unsupervised... There are adult smoking activites that I am sure go on during those performances, if you get my drift. I'm not spekaing from personal experience because I don't do that sort of stuff, but I know that it happens.

i've been to hard rock live many times and i have the opposite opinion. it is a smoking free venue and i have never seen anyone inside smoking, fighting, misbehaving or anything. i feel perfectly safe and i wouldn't have a problem letting a 14 year old into this venue. i've seen reel big fish there a few times. they are usually there every year and it rarely is a sell out w/ only selling the day of if that.

You are probably right... I wasn't sure with Hard Rock and the whole smoking issue. I know that Amway is supposed to be smoke free, too, but that doesn't keep people from lighting up during a Jimmy Buffett concert... or most concerts now that I think about it... :sad2:

I can't remember which band it was performing at Hard Rock when my hubby and I were at Mardi Gras... i think it was Pepper... and I KNOW those kids/people were "smoking" in line...

But the question remains, would you let 14 year olds in there unsupervised?? I would say no, but again, personal opinion.
